It's a cute little 60s style green one, very lightweight, which can either be plugged in or take batteries so I can move it about the house (or in the summer maybe take it camping!) with me.
Also it has an alarm clock. I'm delighted at the prospect of waking up to BBC 6 instead of Radio 1 - the tunes on radio 1 are not my cup of tea but their breakfast show does force me out of bed in the morning...
I love the new radio but don't yet trust it enough to rely on it to wake up for work. It's irrational but there you go. But I'm so so so happy we can listen to BBC 6 again - in the kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, everywhere! It's my favourite station.
The dresses generally fit very well but I have a real busty girl problem with buying stuff from my favourite online retro fashion shops sometimes because I'm between sizes - where the bust fits the rest is too loose, where the waist fits the bust gets squished. I also frequently assume I am bigger than I actually am and buy things that are way too big, but after many calculations (on numerous post-its) I think I've found the right size for most things in my favourite few shops. Maybe it's an excuse to buy new bras... buying underwear is up there with buying jeans, I like having them but I loathe shopping for them. Dress shopping (more often window shopping) online however is a lot more fun!
