I'm certainly no model and the situation I have for photography is less than ideal - all the lights in my house are energy saving or led so kind of yellow in hue, my camera is getting very old and temperamental as is the tripod, and my hallway is the only free space to do it in - complete with hideous brown carpet... When the weather improves I might venture outside but for now the hallway is it! Also if the project goes on I'll look at better camera and such.
Taking pictures is exhausting! Rockin' Roy was my assistant and we spent about 3 or 4 hours on this project covering about a dozen dresses. I was surprised how shattered I was just getting changed a lot. Posing also wears you out. Phew! Real models make it look easy but they are working damn hard.
I've put the clothing reviews on a separate page as the main blog will continue to focus on the usual Glasgow related chat - gigs, restaurants, interesting places, travel, crafts and so on.
