I'll be heading out later to check them out. Pity I spent all my money on a new laptop to run RacyRaes from! I also ordered some business cards which won't be here for a month but are rather snazzy!
Happy to report over 100 friends on facebook now, thank you all! Twitter is also coming along nicely, thanks fellow tweeters!
There will be new articles going up later today (post vintage fairs!), Our new Style Icon is Eartha Kitt! Betty Francis will be moving to the archive.
Google Adsense have approved the site but I'm not sure how to work it yet!
There will be some new recipes, cocktails and I really want to add to the 'Living Room' as it's been empty and needs some furniture. I'm not sure what to put in yet as it's going to need photos etc. This week I will be learning how to do a 1920's Finger Curls hairstyle which will find it's way into Hair and Make Up.
Feeling famous as I've had my first official link from another site - courtesy of Bettylicious.
Have been completely in love with Lucy Worsley's new series 'If Walls Could Talk - an intimate history of the home'. Its wonderful! Catch it on iplayer if you're in the UK or buy the book. I adore a hands on historian. My feeling is that history should be alive not locked only in textbooks. Through doing it yourself you understand so much more, as all retro enthusiasts know!
Also kudos to the BBC picking up more women historians, a more rounded approach is welcome!!!
