I styled up our doors a little bit with some lace Washi tape and retro label wrapping paper from Paperchase. Living room door has stars on one side & lace detail on the other. Cupboard door has old sewing adverts and kitchen door has vintage French chocolate wrappers. I think most of these were on sale at Paperchase so it was a cheap and cheerful temporary makeover. No paint, no fuss, no muss.
I also made a spring wreath thing from an egg carton box last week when I was feeling ill because apparently I cope with colds by making primary school level craft items. I like it though, have hung it my hallway!
I've never bought a copy of Woman's Weekly before but I can see their current editions cover things like knitting, crafts, gardening, recipes, how to guides and lifestyle articles about things like book clubs so it might actually be a good fit for me!
Their website tells me they have already had two other Vintage View editions out this year which I missed so I'll be keeping an eye out for the next ones.
The magazine is a mash up of articles from various editions and not a straight copy of a particular issue.
On a side note my current gorgeous swimsuit coveting is going on with THIS MARVELLOUS ITEM from Monif C. The suit runs about 90-odd quid in GBP plus international shipping though so that would need to be cash splash I don't see in my near future, but a girl can dream!
My wedding dress was a 1930's style dye-to-order one, but I picked it up in the sale at John Lewis so didn't specifically choose the colour (otherwise I might have gone for a red or yellow or green). While it is no longer available to buy you can find some similar vintage dye to order styles at Ghost.
