Once we have it all in place it will be a huge weight off our minds! We are still suffering the after effects of tiny broken budget syndrome post wedding as every month we seem to be landed with some kind insane bill. We were hugely overcharged for our gas so now - after about 3 months - they have accepted that the bills were wrong and given us credit. So no cash back but looks like gas is covered for winter! We will investigate to see if we can get the money back as it is a HUGE amount but I'm not confident about it. Similar thing with council tax too this month... sigh.
In other news I am LOVING my sewing machine but don't have any actual patterns yet. I've been putting pleating into old pillow cases just to see what I can do. Hoping to make some Christmas presents this year but will need to figure out what.
Glasgow is currently chocka-bloc with vintage fairs these days and yesterday I nearly walked straight into a stall at a craft fair which has sprung up in my local beanscene - they really are everywhere! As always it's hit and miss with the vintage content but because Glasgow is quite competitive for crafts the standard (but also sadly the price) is often high.
I'm planning to do some more vintage fashion themed posts soon and get the 'How To' craft section going. As always though life takes over these things. I have four different blog projects outside of work plus about five brands I do the social media for at work, plus a couple of other types of writing projects on the go all the time so sometimes Racy Rae becomes a bit more diary like! Too many projects not enough time, but perhap enough time for just one more cup of tea...
