So since October, what have I been up to?
There was Fireworks night in Glasgow:
The star of the show had to Mulk - a traditional Polish restaurant, where the courses never ended. I developed a real love of Pierogi (Polish dumplings). I was also introduced in Soplica vodka. It was a great communal style dinner.
Christmas in Glasgow for us means checking out the lights in George Square, mulled wine in the pub, bratwurst at the Christmas Market, and walking through Queens Park on the 25th - regardless of weather. This year we managed to stay cold but dry and saw an eerie pink purple sunset.
At new year Rockin' Roy was working. I went out for dinner with some friends to one of my local restaurants Bella Napoli. They do really good Carbonara. It's a beautiful and deceptively sized place, I had been before and not realised there is a whole lower floor dining area. Then the bells rang and it was January 2014!
