PLACES TO EAT IN GLASGOW (and other places of interest...)
Some places I've been lucky enough to eat at in Glasgow that are pretty darn goooooddd!
Nice 'n' Sleazys - iconic venue and low key cool muso hang out, the food is simple and sleazy, in a good way. Hat tip to the burgers!
Brel - French themed and boasting one of the few beer gardens in Glasgow - good for a sophisticated but laid back beer, best for cheese and mussel lovers.
Tiki Bar - Tasty Thai food in a kitsch Tiki style haven. Glorious cocktails.
Slouch - My favourite bar. Chips in tiny metal buckets and surprisingly impressive pizzas.
St Louis Cafe - Superb pan world cooking with a hefty side of delicious Gumbo! Everything on the menu is good.
Waverley Tearooms - Good pub grub and an extensive drinks menu. Always oddly cosy despite the glass walls.
Cafe Cossachok - Russian treats and vibrant craft décor.
Hanoi Bike Shop - Vietnamese food with a local twist. Also a great option for veggies! (May contain ceiling bikes)
Crollas - We all scream for ice cream! The best gelateria in the West End. Magic concoctions and New York/Italian style sandwiches.
Kama Sutra - Indian food, solid choice for pre-theatre, romantic dates, groups of friends, work do - tasty and timely.
Dakhin - South Indian food. Delicious food in an intimate fairly-lit atmosphere. Excellent choice for veggies!
Fanny Trollops - Stylish Scottish cooking. Fresh and filling.
Ad Lib - Even after a 100 visits feels like you've discovered a secret hideaway. An impressive menu, carbs done justice! Specials board always a great choice.
Bella Napoli - Old school Southside Italian. At least three options for Carbonara - they take their food seriously.
Total Vegetarian/Vegan Options
Cafe Saramago - Nestled inside the CCA features good food and great beer set in a very cool city centre location.
13th Note - Another legendary venue. Good kitchen - the bar is cool but the food is better!
